Welcome to Chateau-de-la-Motte-Husson
a fairy-tale castle set in the Pays de la Loire, France.
Whether it’s a small intimate family gathering or an extravagant soiree, Dick Strawbridge and myself guarantee your journey to be effortless and your celebration wondrous.
Chateau-de-la-Motte-Husson is set within 12 acres of breathtaking park-land. It features a majestic moat, an Art Deco Orangery, a walled garden and numerous outbuildings and stables, not to mention the Chateau itself, which boasts 5 floors! It truly is a fairy-tale and the ideal backdrop to your perfect celebration.
The Chateau was built in 1864 to show-off its original owner’s wealth and the grand reception salons scream decadence and can host up to 200 people.
The Salle-a-manager can host 12 people for a sit-down multiple course tasting menu and the Art Deco Orangery can seat 80 people for a wedding breakfast.
I am the founder of the Vintage Patisserie and have 20 years hospitality experience under my belt. Known for my attention to detail and quirky twist on events, I know how to turn dreams and visions into reality. I also believe that the journey should be just as fun, and that it begins from the very first phone call. My wonderful husband, Television presenter and Celebrity Masterchef finalist Dick Strawbridge, also knows a thing or two about hosting and with Dick’s incredible culinary knowledge you can rest assured that you’ll be in the best of hands.
Dick and I understand that every celebration is unique and have never understood the concept of a ‘package’. Whether it’s our signature taster menus in the Chateau or Orangery, high tea in the garden, a hog-roast at midnight or anything else your imagination can think of, we have the tools and commitment to make dreams come true.
